I was watching this video – again – from Seth Godin, one of my favorite business philosophers: [vimeo http://www.vimeo.com/384049 w=600&h=333]

SEO is dead. Part 2
It appears that even Google is getting sick of SEO gamers. Enough so to even penalize a major company like Overstock.com. An excerpt from an article in the The Wall St Journal today states that,

SEO is dead
Ranking highly in search engines means absolutely nothing if people are just going to press the back button as soon as they’ve spent five seconds on your awful website.

Flexible
In Revit we are continually exhorted to ‘flex’ our families. That is to say, when creating a parametric family component (like a piece of furniture or a fixture) I need to flex the model by inputting a variety of values for the different parameters, such as length, width, and height for example. But had to find that out later that morning. Speaking of shutting down, AEP showed up to my house on Friday to switch out my…

Busy
I haven’t been posting much because of many different factors that have occurred simultaneously of late. What counts is that I’m posting now. This is due in part to Seth Godin’s blog challenge to post at least one thing everyday in order to foster the idealab, as compared to waiting for inspiration. I think I’m…
